Jack M. Firestone, CFP®

Jack M. Firestone, CFP®, is president and founding partner of Firestone Capital Management. He specializes in investment and retirement planning and asset management for entrepreneurs, owners of closely held businesses and other professionals.

Before opening his own practice, Mr. Firestone spent five years as a partner of Evensky & Brown Financial Advisors. He earned his MBA at the University of Miami and his BA at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. He has held the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation since 1988.

He is active professionally as a member of the Financial Planning Association, and has served on the Charles Schwab Technical Operations and Support Advisory Board. Mr. Firestone has served as chief executive officer of several public organizations, including the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the Louisville Orchestra, the Florida Philharmonic, and PACE Concerts.

Active in cultural affairs, he serves as an officer and is a founding board member of Miami Music Project. He has served on the Board of Governors and the Artistic Advisory and Marketing Committees of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, and has served as a board member of City Theatre and the Coconut Grove Association. He has been a national board member of the League of American Orchestras and a founding vice president of the National Committee for Symphony Orchestra Support.
